* CONDUCTING A SURVEY

• To understand the exact problems students are facing regarding the topics that are: WATER,FOOD,MEDICAL,SAFETY I conducted a survey for one day.

• I prepared a survey questionnaire with the following points included and they were supposed to tick or cross or write down their problems.

• This is the questionnaire I prepared.

• It was put up in the girls hostel for an entire day.

•  Then I noted down the common problems faced by students from all the floors and highlighted the most important ones i.e.

1. BAD DRINKING WATER

- bitter taste

-smells

2.DRAINAGE PROBLEM

3.NO FOOD AT NIGHT IN HOSTEL

4.DIFFICULTY TO PRESERVE FOOD

-no fridge

5.NO FIRST AID AVAILABLE IN THE HOSTEL

6.LACKING BASIC MEDICAL SUPPLIES

7. NO FIRE EXTINGUISHERS***

 ***Case Study

Fire extinguishers are extremely necessary in the hostel because it was about 2-3 weeks ago that there was a fire in one of the hostel rooms and because there are no fire extinguishers it took a little long and help of many people to control and reduce the damage done by it.In that case a fire extinguisher  would have helped faster rather than calling people for help,put water and try to control the fire.
